We finally got to use Chief Justice this past Fall -- we've waited a long time to put this full Peruvian, 7/8-Accoyo male to work, and now we're anxiously awaiting his first crias. We selected several of our very best females to whom to breed Chief, including our Bruxo daughter, Josie, and our PIVAL Blazen son daughter, Champagne Bubbles, and he was more than up to the task -- it appears that all of his girls were settled with just one breeding each! Included in Chief's pedigree are two of the greatest Accoyo males ever imported into the United States, Ganador and Uribe (Durazno), and, on his sire's side is another exceptional Accoyo male, Chief Qualchan LCA, from Latah Creek Alpacas, one of the country's premier suri breeders. Chief has excellent fiber, great conformation, and good big bone. His coverage is exceptional. Not only are we offering breedings to this exceptional herdsire at an introductory fee of $1,800 (our 25% off anniversary price), we are also willing to share Chief with another suri breeder looking to improve both fleece and conformation and add some great suri genes to their herd.
Ridgeview Farm is celebrating its 25th year in the fiber animal industry, and, as a part of the celebration, we have reduced all our list prices and breeding fees 25%, reduced our down payment and interest rate 25%, and extended our payment term 25%. Chief's price (for a one-half interest) has been reduced from $20,000. Financing has been extended to up to two years and one-half years, with at least 18% down (instead of our usual 25%), and monthly payments at 4 1/2%. |
